Overview
The school covers topics on Web Engineering and Web modelling. In the first week the general framework is presented (Schwinger - Mich - Rossi), a methodology is presented in some detail, with a hands-on approach (Schwabe + Pelechano), and some application on e-government are discussed (Cernuzzi). A couple of more technology oriented lectures present an overview of advanced Web architectures (Ronchetti) and some opportunities based on agents (Cernuzzi).
The second week will contain the discussion of Web design patterns (Retalis), and will go in some depth into Service Oriented Computing (Reiff-Marganiec + Baresi). Quality Assurance and Evaluation will be discussed by Olsina, and the project coordinator Simos Retalis will then wrap up and close the school.
