| About me... |
I am a professor at the Informatics Department of PUC-Rio. I graduated in Math from PUC-Rio in 1975, got an MSc in Informatics at PUC-Rio in 1976, and a PhD in Computer Science at UCLA in 1981.
My main interest is in advanced information systems, where an application is seen as part of a man-machine team that perform tasks. I have been researching methods and techniques to design and implement such systems, including model-driven design, hypermedia authoring, knowledge-based systems, interface design, and web-based applications.
I have organized and chaired several conferences, workshops and events in Web Engineering, both nationally and internationally. |
