<description>On &lt;strong&gt;Windows, Linux amd Macintosh&lt;/strong&gt; the final user only needs to have a &lt;strong&gt;standard web browser&lt;/strong&gt; with a &lt;strong&gt;Flash plugin&lt;/strong&gt;. Most browsers automatically download and install the Flash plug-in in case it is not available: therefore a typical user does not need to do anything special to use Lode.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To create an event (i.e. to record a lecture) an acquisition station is needed: the current version of LODE needs an &lt;strong&gt;Intel Mac&lt;/strong&gt; with a firewire port (typically but not necessariy a laptop), a videocamera and a radiomicrophone. The LODE software can be obtained for free from this site. The installation is very simple (dmg file on mac, so simply drag and drop).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To distribute events any web server is fine.</description>
