Most browsers automatically download and install the Flash plug-in in case it is not available: therefore a typical user does not need to do anything special to use Lode.<br /><br />To create an event (i.e. to record a lecture) an acquisition station is needed: the current version of LODE needs an <strong>Intel Mac</strong> with a firewire port (typically but not necessariy a laptop), a videocamera and a radiomicrophone. The LODE software can be obtained for free from this site. The installation is very simple (dmg file on mac, so simply drag and drop).<br /><br />To distribute events any web server is fine.
