Make sure that your startup disk has no spaces or special characters in its name.
Move any older version of LODE to the trash.
You need to have ffmpegX installed, with its components in place (mencoder, mplayer, mpeg2enc, flv2tool) – See http://ffmpegX.com/download
To use its web site publishing feature (on LODE 1.25 and above) you must also install VLC - See http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
STEP 1. Open the .dmg disk image and copy the LODE application to your Applications folder.
STEP 2. Run LODE from your Applications folder.
