The function of the External Advisory Board is to monitor and review activities, evaluate results, and advertise this project to public. It will evaluate and assess the project on the basis of high international quality standard indicators.

It is composed by 3 members from outside of the project:

Prof. Frank van Harmelen	Vrije Universitiet Amsterdam Author of several books on the semantic web among which "A Semantic Web Primer"
Prof. Jim Handler	Director, The Joint Institute for Knowledge Discovery Co- Director (and head of) Semantic Web and Agents Research, Maryland Information and Network Dynamics Laboratory
Dr. Michael Brodie	Chief Scientist of the Verizon Information Technology company
